I think it is a good thing we got rid of the FCC's "Fairness Doctrine". We lost JFK, RFK, and MLK. Jr to assassins, while attempts were made on many other political figures under it's corrosive stifling of free speech.
Is it possible having a venue too talk of, and be talked out of, ignorant ideas, would have vented the deadly motives that caused all the assassinations and shootings during the "Fairness Doctrine" times?
As we have had both a rise in heated rhetoric, accompanied by a decline in political violence, I say the evidence is in, the "Fairness Doctrine" is a terroristic plot to endanger our elected officials.

I regret the subject matter of this first article of 2011.

It is a fact of life, unfortunately, that in a free, armed society, mentally deficient people are occasionally going to come into possession of, and use with horrible results, weapons.
The parties responsible for allowing this too happen, (mentally unstable individuals getting weapons), are responsible for any and all actions that follow.
Yesterday, Dem. Representative Gabrielle Giffords was shot in the head, 6 others were killed, and others wounded, by such a person.
This is a tragedy beyond words, and my heart goes out to all of the people and families involved.

Immediately, the "political who-ores" sprang from the woodwork, from both sides, implying this was the fault of the words of some other political party or follower.

That is, of course, BULLEXCREMENT!
The following is a copy of an answer I gave on a website claiming it is the political divisiveness in the country that caused this horrific attack.

The fact of the matter is this :
Anyone that would walk up to someone and shoot them in the face for no reason is seriously mentally ill. It really doesn't matter what the last thing he heard or read is, because he is sick. If we are too blame anyone else, or any other speech or any other party, with what this mentally challenged person did, then the ramifications would be that no one could ever have a public disagreement with anyone over anything, lest we trigger the sick among us.
I am not ready, nor should we clamor for, lowering the bar of free speech because of how mental patients might react. If they are discovered before they do something crazy and anti-social, institutionalize them for all our safety. Did you read his youtube rantings? He seemed to be paronoid, blathering about "mind control". No one who knew him thought he was off? His writing were incomprehensible.
If they are not discovered beforehand, and they manage to act out, it is their responsibility for the damage they do, or is done to them.
A free society cannot tip-toe around the deranged. Evil acts are going to happen. We can do what we can, within the law, to protect ourselves. Arizona is a concealed-carry state. I am surprised, and more then a little disappointed, that more citizens choose to leave their protection to others, rather then exercising that most precious right, themselves.
Government cannot and will not protect us from all the dangers of life.
Whenever some crime occurs, the police, who are good, well-meaning citizens, say, "we can't be everywhere at once".
Well, in a state like Arizona, you can carry personal protection, and you always are around when you need you!
I'm obviously aware that this would not have stopped this particular incident, because he reportedly started with the head shot to the Congresswoman. My question is, would he have been able to get off another 17 shots if we had not been indoctrinated to stop carrying weapons and leave our personal protection to people who have no vested interest in our well-being?
Regardless of what anyone says, a gun in the hands of a law-abiding citizen is only a danger to criminals and tyrants.
Every state with the toughest gun laws has the highest gun crimes. The experiment has failed.
When Kennasaw, Ga was suffering a rash of home break ins, they passed an ordinance that all homes had to have a gun. Break ins stopped. Criminals are cowards, if they know you are armed they will leave you alone, (how many cops are mugged? Is it because of the pretty uniform, or the weapon they carry?).
I digress.
This guy is sick, but he is also lucky. I would rather he were in a body bag with numerous bullet holes.
No one is responsible for how a delusional mind will react to what they say.
If so, no one may speak in public anymore, and all forms of public entertainment, (movies, tv, radio, internet, newspapers, etc.), must cease, immediately, for the children.

Now that we know that the deaths and accidents that immobilized NY was just another purposeful, terrorist act, will we act appropriately? Will the union terrorists be waterboarded, (I HOPE), and sentenced to indefinite terms at Guantanamo?

Why not?

Didn’t they just do what the islamists have been trying to do? Terrorize and paralyze NYC, killing people and causing grievous  injuries?

Didn’t they purposely wait until the most damage could be done to their enemy, the American citizens, before they launched their cowardly attack?

If this union is not de-certified, a la Patco, and the leaders jailed, we will deserve what happens when the rest of the corrupt union thugs controlling our government see that they can kill us with impunity.

Government unions should be banned, there are plenty of people that will do the jobs without being treated as royalty.

Vote out any politicians, and do not let any through the primary system, that does not vow to kill government unions, as a matter of national and self defense.

They fired the first shot, our modern day, “shot heard round the world”. If we do not engage them, and kill the unions, they will keep killing us.

I have been hearing for years about, “tax cuts for the rich costing money.”

What an absurd concept. If you are mugged on the street, and your wallet is taken with $100.00 in it, yet you retain a $20.00 bill in your shoe, did you just “cost” the thief $20.00?

Democrats believe it is your moral imperative to pay that, and more, and you should feel guilty until you do.

Tomorrow, the thief will have less money for heroin, but you need to buy some and have it delivered, bowing deeply as you apologize.

I hear them exclaim, “They need to pay their fair share!”.

Leave aside the fact that the top 2% pay 40% of the taxes.

If we, or in this case, (unfortunately), they, are determined to have a “fair share” to pay, doesn’t that mean both sides of the equation should be fair? Couldn’t it be said that no one outside of that category is creating their fair share of wealth?

I would like to see a “wealth created in the economy” column right next to the “tax paid”.

Something tells me the people , “not paying their fair share” of the taxes would be responsible for 75 to 85% of the wealth created, for themselves and others, and the taxes collected from it.

Look at the thieves, I mean democrats, breathless indignation at the thought that the government may only steal 35% of a families inheritance over $5 million dollars.

The inheritance, or death, tax is the leading cause of the destruction of family farms in America. Having to pay the taxes on the farmland upon the death of the owner, the family is often forced to sell the property.

The Miami Dolphins had to be sold because the Robbie family could not pay the taxes on what the team was worth. Is it right for a family to lose everything the patriarch has worked for all their life, what they have already paid taxed on?

The death tax is immoral, but that is only natural, because those that push it are immoral. They prove it every time the spend a dime they do not have.

Lets make believe someone actually wanted to stop bleeding money and create wealth in America.

Ready?

Announce a twenty year business tax plan. Zero out Corporate and Capital Gains taxes, allowing a .5% rise for twenty years to a permanent high of 10%. The world will run back to America to start businesses.

Give every working person over 40 the choice to retire with between 1 and 5 million dollars, tax free, depending on their job skills. The only requirement is that they buy an American car and pay off their mortgage, or take one out.

Get rid of the IRS. No one should ever again know how much anyone else makes. A sales tax with the proper tweaking is what we need…you buy something, you pay tax. The more expensive the item, the more progressive the tax.

There, done. This plan would fix the car, real estate and banking industries, and wipe out unemployment.

Considering the recent and past accidents your child has had, (and I am pleased she was not again seriously injured, but I question whether you are a serious parent, sir), I have to point something out to you.

You allow your daughters involvement in a dangerous and sometimes deadly sport.  Any fool knows that the percentage of people involved with horses that get injured is far higher then the percentage of people who MIGHT be injured by salt. Salt is a required staple of our lives, we cannot live without it, yet we certainly could live without allowing our children to ride upon high strung animals, placing them in immediate danger.

Many people that love salt have NEVER been harmed by it.

Your daughter has been repeatedly harmed by horses.

To my point, sir:

Why don’t you spend a little more time learning how to protect your own family, and stop abusing your office to make believe you know how to protect mine?

Or, if you wish:

What makes your daughter so damned special that she has the right to put her life at great risk, yet we don’t have the right to put as much salt on our meals as we like?

You sir, are one of the most callow, hypocritical, power-hungry megalomaniacs on the political scene today. I hope you decide to run for president,  it would do you good to be humiliated on the national stage.

So the NFL has this political committee, Gridiron Pac. According to CSN News, Gridiron Pac just gave $10,000 dollars, the legal limit, to Arizona Senator Harry Reid's re-election campaign.

I wonder if this is truly representative of the average NFL player.

I expect the NFL to slink to the bowels of civilization on all issues now. The Reid contribution meets my expectations.

After all, this is a group that is investigating a man for sending some sort of  messages to a woman he seems to have been infatuated with.  A horny guy chasing a skirt, in a most indelicate and un-PC way.

They won't let this go, with their high and mighty moral standards having been offended.

Right.

This from an organization that has allowed a brutal psychopathic animal torturer and killer to join its ranks, and have helped showcase this serial-killer-in-training.

Any" thing" capable of using his bare hands to drown, hang and beat animals to death, swinging them over his head and slamming them into the ground until dead, someone that witnesses said got an "adrenaline rush" for his efforts, should not be rewarded and protected by the NFL. He should not be paraded before the world's children like a hero to emulate, and yet, he is.

Michael Vick doesn't reach the same offensive level to them as Brett Favre?

This is an organization that, in its quest for the almighty dollar, is willing to allow children to see and mingle with this disgusting piece of humanity. The fact that any other player stands next to this fiend, this vile piece of human excrement, shows how little respect anyone should have for these so-called men, the team they play for, and the organization they all work under. Not to mention the products that sponsor them. I do not spend money on products that enable dangerous, murderous psychopaths. 

I don't care how much anyone is paying me, I would not walk on the same side of the street as the low-life Michael Vick. Should I one day by chance, come upon the Philadelphia Eagles team bus burning in a ditch, I would not waste my urine on it. The fact that the team still exists as a unit after hiring Vick says it all. Men have ethics and morals that would preclude them from being pictured with, wearing the same uniform as, or being associated with in any way, shape or form, a scumbag.

There are no men on the Eagles.

I believe Michael Vick will eventually kill someone. Serial killers start by getting off on torturing and killing animals.

He has tasted the power of taking life. Before he is dead, he will kill someone. He got away with it up to now, (he wasn't charged or jailed for his depravity), and his privileged status will drive him to it again.

I haven't watched a baseball game since the money grubbing bastards canceled the World Series.

I don't need the NFL, either.

I waited a few days before speaking my mind on the Presidents omission of the "Creator" in his version of the Declaration of Independence.

I thought for sure that someone in the No-Longer Main Stream Media would lift their heads out of the Dems rumps and take note, maybe even offense, at the rewriting of our founding document.

I thought wrong.

"Is it possible they did not notice"? Highly unlikely, it did make a ripple on the internet, enough to have been noticed.

"Why ignore such an astounding event"? The No-Longer MSM agrees with the communist governmental model. Rights are bestowed upon citizens at the whim of committees, if ever. Government exists to give, or take, rights to, or from, citizens, at expense of all citizens.

Under our American model, citizens get equal rights from the creator. Government exists to protect those rights for all citizens...for now.

"Who else recently asserted the same principle, and why are they more dangerous to America then Obama"? Elena Kagan, President Obamas Supreme Court pick, was asked directly by Sen. Cornyn if she believed we get unalienable rights from our creator, she repeatedly stated that if it is not in the Constitution, she does not consider it law.  Kagans effect on the court will be much more damaging, long term, then Obamas presidency. If they continue to place high level officials all around government with like-minded followers, convincing citizens that rights are from man, and not born naturally into every person, our Constitution becomes useless.

The No-Longer MSM did not mention or equate these things for you because it is their job, as they see it, to NOT tell you. To not report to you anything that might slow down this race to socialism, this avalanche of capitalistic destruction falling around us.

What has temporarily stalled our disappearance into the depths of the "ash heap of History",  is the questions triggered by free speech and the answers delivered by the internet.

The Progressives, like the communists and Some Asian countries, think in terms of decades and centuries. The progressives have slowly been chipping away at their greatest enemy, the Constitution, since Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson. Right up to and through the 60's attack on our economy by the likes of Cloward and Piven, and LBJ's family destroying war on Poverty, the progressives have been pushing socialism on us, a little at a time. Had the internet not intervened, within 20 years America would have been a socialist, soon to be communist, nation.

The Internet shed light on the 6:00pm newcasts, and what, and who, was behind them. It gave us access to hundreds of stories, not just the two that were cherry-picked for their particular POV.

It treated us with respect, unlike the Formerly MSM, who called us fools when we voted against their positions.

It lets us see, and share with our friends and acquaintances, what our president and his hand-picked Supreme Court justice think of our founding documents, and how that might guide, or at least, explain, their decisions.

It has forced the progressives to load up for this election cycle. They realize that they will never get the opportunity to slip their agenda past an apathetic populace again. The people have awakened, and they are decidedly against the concepts being forced upon them. The progressives only hope is to pile it all in now, before the opposition gets fully entrenched.

As far as the Obama rewrite:

They did not mention Obamas mistake because it was not a mistake. They did not highlight the statements by Kagan about the Declaration of Independence. To them, it's just, "Oh, that Life, Liberty and Pursuit of Happiness thingy...no, not so much anymore"..." Next, Paris cops a plea, Lindsay  bails out, video at 11".

The Supreme Court has let stand a death penalty against a Virginia murderess who paid two men to kill her husband and stepchild for insurance money. Obviously, a just sentence.

The judicial system in Iran has been trying to have a woman stoned to death for having sex. The actual charge is adultery, but the root is, a woman had sex without a mans permission.

The Iranian president has compared the two sentences, asking where is the outrage against America, equal to the outrage against his country’s treatment of the adulterer? He apparently see some moral equivalency.

I, of course do not.

We have had proof after proof of muslims determination to destroy the civilized word, and their intention to strangle freedom, wherever it exists, with Sharia law.

His comparison is just more proof.

More proof that the muslim does not have the capacity of understanding, intellect, or values to live in a civilized world. muslims are savages, ready to stone to death a woman for her unauthorized sexual gratification, using her body as she sees fit, not her owner, father, brother or group of men. (Something no muslim has the courage to do, is recognize a woman as a person, not a piece of property).

That is not a legitimate death penalty, that is a revenge killing.

Our celebration of one of our most glorious laws is just that, a celebration.

Progressive panderers to judicial anarchy and bleeding heart liberals have taken something beautiful and forced it into the darkness of night. We have allowed European Human Rights Panels and UN organizations to demonize our death penalty, to try and make us feel dirty for ending a human life.

Our death penalty is the result of our community coming together after particularly heinous acts have been committed, mostly ending in the death of innocent, Liberty-Loving American Citizens.

We make sure the facts are collected, and, as a society, investigate the circumstances surrounding the lose of our most valuable asset, the most valuable asset in the world, a free, independent person. When society is satisfied that a particular person is responsible for this atrocity, this destruction of freedom, this blow against liberty, we bring charges and prove the case “beyond a reasonable doubt”, under the most open trial system in the world.

Upon conviction, after allowing appeals in case of an oversight, we make plans to rid our community of the persons who dared strike a free person down, and not allow them, or their families, the fruits of their heritage: Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.

Originally, we had public executions, out in the open. It was a family gathering to teach the celebration of the cleansing of a free society of those who have given up their rights to live by denying the same to others.

We do this not out of revenge.
We do this as a warning to the world.
It is a statement to the world that WE ARE FREE PEOPLE. We will not be killed easily, without notice. When our personal rights to self defense fail, and we are struck down, we do not die. Our society rises on our behalf, in our name, to chase down and demand justice of the killers.
The president of Iran finds a moral comparison between the two? We are supposed to give weight to ideas, on any matter, that stem from a mind so damaged as that?

Islamophobe definition: Anyone smart enough to realize that Islam is NOT a religion, but a political system dependent on the barbaric Sharia law, which uses intimidation, violence and beheadings to force everyone into submission, (Islam does not mean "peace", it means "submission").
It is diametrically opposed to freedom, and is a threat to the existance of the United States.
They demand tolerance, yet are the most intolerant people in the world, killing anyone that disagrees with them.
They are mysoginists who consider women of less value then animals.
Islamic Jihad is the group that declared war on the United States as soon as we became a country, killing and kidnapping our sailors, forcing them into slavery and demanding tribute to sail the seas safely. Eventually, President Jefferson created the Marines, (called "Leathernecks" because of the stiff leather collars protecting their necks from the swords of these primative savages). "Millions for defense, not one penny for tribute". Words to live by today.
They wish to implement the hateful Sharia law in the US, (one of the issues the lying imam at ground zero demands), and we actually have traitorous ignorami in our government, sitting in our courts and bloviating in our media, who are not against the idea.
When they say, "Islam is a religion of peace", they mean that after they have subjugated, forcibly converted or killed all non-muslims, there will be peace.

They are cowards, who knew a free, armed populace in America would have dramatically reduced the number of muslims in the world, had they tried that excrement  here.
How does that part of Sharia law hold up to our freedom of speech?

Courtesy of NY Finest News The inspector is holding Det. Randy Jurgensen. He was struck in the head by airmail. Look at the photo of the cop holding his gun in the air after having just fired it. He was PO Lucian D'alessio of the 28 Anti-Crime. He was later killed by a drunk driver. Harlem Mosque Incident 1970's April 14, 1972, was one of the darkest days in the NYPD history. Patrolmen Phil Cardillo and Vito Navarra were riding in 28 sector George. They were the first RMP to respond to a 10-13 on the second floor at 102 West 116 Street. After arriving and entering the building which was a mosque they questioned about 10 muslims at the front desk about the call. Suddenly the muslims shouted "Allah Akhbar", more muslims came from rooms, then the officers were beaten and stomped by numerous black muslims. A minute or two later Patrolmen Vic Padilla and Ivan Negron of the 25 pct. arrived and were also badly beaten and knocked to the ground. Navarra was able to crawl to the front door which was then slammed shut by the muslims. He told the responding cops that Cardillo was still inside. Thru a small window in the front door cops could see Cardillo on the floor being kicked by the surrounding mob. Padilla was down and being stomped and his gun was taken. Ptl. Negron was being beaten and he was fighting off numerous hands that were attempting to rip the gun from his holster. One of the muslims, six foot four and 260 pounds, Louis 17X Dupree grabbed Cardillo's gun, ripped it from the holster and fired a round into Cardillo. The cops at the front door smashed the glass and afraid of hitting the fallen cops, fired five rounds over the heads of the muslims. Padilla, seeing Louis Dupree running with the gun, fired three rounds. More 10-13's are called. The cops broke in the front door. The seventeen muslims ran to the basement. Cops flooded through the door and chased the fleeing muslims down the stairs. The cops had them against the wall and began searching for the missing guns. Cardillo is removed to St. Lukes hospital. At the same time, outside the mosque a large crowd of about a thousand locals begin to riot. Cars were overturned, bricks are coming off the roofs, and cops and media people are being assaulted. While this is going on Deputy Chief Inspector William Knapp arrived and went into the basement and spoke with Inspector John Haugh the 28 pct CO. Insp. Haugh had responded to the 10-13. He told the cops to guard the prisoners. Knapp called Commissioner Pat Murphy and advised him of the turmoil inside and outside the mosque. While Knapp was talking on the phone he heard shouting. He turned and saw Louis Farrakhan and Charlie Rangel leading a large group of muslims down the basement stairs. Farrakhan was shouting that all the cops must leave the temple. Knapp tells Haugh to move to the street. Now Deputy Commissioner Ben Ward arrives, with Farrakhan at his side he shouts to the superior officers that the cops immediately leave the mosque. The crime scene was abandoned. Farrakhan and Rangel are shouting to the superior officers "If you stay, there is nothing we can do to protect you. You'll be overrun. There'll be rioting. People may be killed." Farrakhan and Rangel 'promise' that the prisoners would come to the 24 pct. at five o'clock to be questioned. Do you think anyone showed up? Phil Cardillo died six days later. Mayor John Lindsay and Commissioner Pat Murphy did NOT attend the funeral. A few days after Cardillo was buried. Deputy Commissioner Ben Ward was quoted in the Amsterdam news: I believe that my investigation has pointed out, at least to my satisfaction, that there were some errors made on the part of the police. For the errors, and for the consequence of those errors, I apologize to minister Farrakhan."
