Before Ron Paul There Was...

Harry Browne, who twice ran for President on the Libertarian ticket. Sadly, he is gone now, but some clips of his last work, from a show called, " the Liberty Hour with Harry Browne" can be found at www.bnnreports.com. We had the honor of producing this show with and for Harry, and the depth of his feelings for this great country could be felt by all he met.
The clip that is currently posted, "Americas Freedoms" was written by Harry. Other clips will follow in the future.
There are also reports on Thomas Jefferson, quite fitting for todays world, and an amazing story from Hurricane Katrina about the animals (14,000) that were shipped out and saved by the Louisiana SPCA.

Hsu Shine

Just a thought about Mr. Hsu. All the Dems are now racing to give the money he gave them illegally to charity. Are they taking a tax deduction? That should not be allowed, and they should be asked to pledge that they will not seek to enrich themselves further with this criminals money.
The reports about Hsu's removal from the train say he was "delerious". Why? What was he saying? Was he put on that train to die by someone that did not like the thought of his surrender, or did the name "Clinton" slip out. I know how that sounds, but considering all the associates, business partners and just plain citizens that have died after dealing with the Clintons, it is not unreasonable to ask. Kathleen Willey was warned, Juanitta Broadrick was warned. Maybe the Clintons were afraid of what would happen when the Hsu drops.
I think I discovered the real "Clinton Legacy". Illegal Asian money and death threats.

Dear Pres. Calderon…

…an open letter sent to the Mexican Embassy 9/2/07

Please pass this message to your President. The American people could not care less about what he thinks of our enforcing our laws, and making them tougher. We believe his arrogance is beyond comprehension. Please ask him to fix the reasons all of his citizens are trying to escape to a country that cares for its citizens. Please explain that we cannot afford to bankrupt our hospitals any longer, and we are really tired of his fine citizens coming here and killing people. Please remind your president that, according to a recent study, there are 90 guns for every 100 American citizens, and if he continues to act like he has the right to export his problems here, he should not be surprised if his people start being jailed, executed for their crimes, and violently removed. If he cared about his people, he would try and use the oil money flowing in his country to better the lives of the people, or is it his plan to retire a billionaire in Ireland, like past corrupt non-caring presidents of your fine country, dependent on their non-extradition policy to enjoy spending his graft?

The A.G. and Torture...

...Just an answer to one of the many lies that have been told, which are  are now being rehashed and celebrated by the media, about a good American.
Originally posted as a comment to a
Washingtonpost.com article on 8/27/07.
Nobody with half a brain thinks that the A.G. wrote a memo condoning torture. It took Anti-American liberals to redefine the word, "torture". I'm sure all of our troops would love to be water-boarded if captured, in response to the water-boarding we do to them. Some of our soldiers are water-boarded as part of their training. That is not torture under the definition of the word. Having bones broken, being dragged behind cars, being torched and burned like our peaceful muslims do, that is torture. Keeping lights on and playing music is not torture either, except to those that do anything to bring this country down and make us look bad, (you know, libs and terrorists and the media - amazing how sometimes it's hard to tell them apart, but I digress).
This great President, a man that has freed 50 million people, has lost two good men from his staff this week, and we all feel the loss.

"Rove Unrepentant" is an...

...incredibly indulgent whine by David S. Broder Thursday, August 23, 2007, in the “Washingtonpost.com”

Apparently, Karl Rove committed the unforgivable sin of not being indicted, (not for lack of their trying), and being successful in his campaigns. That and the fact that he left of his own accord, and not because mental midget true believers were biting at his heels was just too much for Broder! The rest of this is an open letter to Mr. Broder, who I'm sure cares about what I think.

Unrepentant? He left with his head held high. Obviously he did not "out" Plame as you well know, or do you think after testifying 5 times, the prosecutor let him go because he liked him. You can not fall back on the big lie. Just because you keep repeating what you know is false, we will not believe it. Does the name Richard Armitage mean anything to you? Why are you not demanding that he be charged with "outing" Plame? You true believers are truly sad. Rove ran rings around his opponents, and even with the full investigative weight of the media and the justice department bearing down on him, emerged unscathed, remained positive about America and gracious to the talking heads who all implied he had something to hide. He is a better man than all you whining jackasses put together, and that drives you crazy. Get over it. When you keep baying at the moon, its you that looks small.

The Lengths Libs Will Go...

...to twist circumstances so they can blame Bush!

The Ascent of "Torture Porn" is an excellent article from “Human Events.com”

by L. Brent Bozell III concerning the torture movies that are now the rage in Hollywood. Of course, some brain-dead maggot calling him or her or itself “get up stand up” left a comment that it is all…wait for it…BUSHES FAULT! I, of course, beg to differ.

Hey "get up stand up", are you kidding. You blithely look past the libs in Hollywood raking in millions making this torture porn, and make a snide comment about Halliburton contracts, (which were handled exactly the same way under your hero Clinton, and the Carlyle group, who, if you do some research, (just a little, don't make a career out of it), you will find has more connections to Clinton then anybody else). You have truly been drinking too much of the Kool-aid. Hollywood is responsible for this crap, period. They have proven over and over again how they hate American values, morals, capitalism, society and government.

A comment to the article,

For the Love of Geeks By Suzanne Fields, Published in Townhall.com

Ms Fields bemoans “geeks”, who give us everything, but are so lacking in the arts and imagination due to being schooled in facts and not arts and music and other claptrap.

Why is it you never once in your article mentioned the parents of these children, and their role in indoctrinating them into their culture, art, heritage and everything else you want the teachers to waste time on in class. I'm sorry, but when I went to school in the late 60's, we learned subjects, not feelings. We are falling behind academically because of an emphasis on feel good, esteem building stuff that, in the long run, is why our college students are doing so poorly now. The professors find them spoiled, with a feeling of self-importance built on a basis of ignorance. They don't know anything, but they feel real good about themselves. That is not a scholastic education. That is a politically correct dumbing down of our children. It is time to reverse this race towards ignorance, go back to facts and sciences, basic art and music, and let parents teach the rest. Your insultingly arrogant portrayal of the people who don't buy into your view of education as "geeks", says more about you then them.

Newark Mayor Booker

Just a quick thought...

...About Newark Mayor Booker and his Sanctuary City policy:

That Mayor Booker has quite pair. He doesn't want Tancrado coming in "exploiting their pain for political advantage". Booker and his ilk can CAUSE the pain due to political advantage, (that is why they don't report illegals, so they get the hispanic vote), but when it blows up in their face and we point out how they, (Booker and his ilk) just killed three people, they say we are getting political. This is just another example of "black on black" crime. I hope the families sue Newark, the State of NJ, and the Mayor and his police chief, who should of told the mayor that he and his men were sworn to enforce the law, and resigned with his men when given the illegal and immoral order to not enforce the law.

It's not the dogfighting...

...IT'S THE KILLINGS, STUPID!!  I mean these people who continue to talk about the "sport of dogfighting" have got to let it go. Give us a break, please.  As barbaric as it is, if Vick was caught just going to dogfights, people would think he's a jerk, but get over it. Even if he were caught gambling on dogfights, "ah, he's a young jerk with too much money who made a stupid mistake", and they'd get over it. BUT, and this is big now, so people have to really get up close to the screen and pay attention, NO ONE IS EVER GOING TO GET OVER THE IMAGE OF MICHAEL "DOGKILLER" VICK HANGING, ELECTROCUTING, DROWNING AND SLAMMING DOGS ON THE GROUND UNTIL THEY ARE DEAD!!!

This is why he chose to take a plea, to keep all the gruesome facts from getting out, and try to minimize (HA) his exposure so 18 months from now he may have a chance to come back. Anyone buying a ticket to ever see a team with "Dogkiller"Vick on it should be ashamed of themselves. Any coach or general manager that hires him should be fired, and any owner who forces him on the rest of the team deserves to have his team not take the field with "Dogkiller" out of sheer respect for themselves. "Dogkiller" deserves to make a living, but never again in the public eye as a hero for children to see. His mentality is an abomination, and stems directly from the lack of respect sports figures are allowed to show the fans and owners and any authority figures. I'm tired of seeing professional athletes dress and talk like thugs , with their pants hanging down, in thug videos, portraying gangster images. Dress codes for any athlete on your payroll, owners. Public displays against the image off the team, or speaking to the press or doing other videos that use their image, (which you should own while they are under contract), while being paid to represent their sport, should be strictly controlled or forbidden.

The owners of these teams deserve much of the blame here. They know whats going on in their locker rooms, but they turn their heads for the almighty dollar. Strict behavior policies, plus fraternization policies, must be implemented. If you owners are going to give children millions of dollars to play your games, you must make the contracts incentive based to keep out this behavior, or you will deserve the fan revolt that is coming. Watch how much the Atlanta Falcons lose when they announce "Dogkiller" Vick will be coming back. If you can afford to pay them this much money, you can afford baby-sitters to keep them out of trouble.

Michael Vick...Why so harsh...

I've just had another conversation with someone who told me how harsh Vick is being treated for "participating in dog fighting, as people have been doing for years. Whats the big deal?" If Vick was only charged with dog fighting, he would be fined and people people would still be upset, but the fact that he killed the losing dogs himself, in different cruel , (drowning or hanging ), ways, is what outrages people. Watching or participating in a dog fight is bad enough. Killing animals without remorse, (in front of witnesses, seems like he thought it was fine), in such a cruel manner is why he deserves to be shunned by the NFL, advertisers and fans alike.
This is a direct result of the lack of respect these proffessional athletes show their teams and their fans. Why are all pro athletes not required to wear shirts and ties in public, unless on the field. They sign multimillion dollar contracts with teams and owners that have no spine. If they are allowed to represent your team, and they look like thugs, talk like thugs and disrespect the team and fans, why are you surprised when they are thugs? I don't want to hear this "culture " crap. Being a gangster is not culture. Every sports team should put in a dress code immediately and go back to moral clauses in contracts, so they can be fired if they dress or act in an embarrassing manner. Get rid of any of them that do not wish to pull up their pants and conform. Let them keep their gangster culture on the streets, keep it and them away from TV and our kids. If the NFL or any team or product hires Vick, they should not be surprised by the boycott that follows.

The New Preamble...

PROPOSED NEW PREAMBLE TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES

We, the sensible people of the United States, in an attempt to help everyone get along, restore some semblance of justice, avoid more riots, keep our nation safe, promote positive behavior and secure the blessings of debt-free liberty to ourselves and our great-great-great-grandchildren, hereby try one more time to ordain and establish some common sense guidelines for the terminally whiny, guilt ridden, delusional, and other liberal bed-wetters. We hold these truths to be self evident: that a lot of people are confused by the Bill of Rights and are so dim they require a Bill of Non-Rights.

ARTICLE I: You do not have the right to a new car, big screen TV or any other form of wealth. More power to you if you can acquire them legally, but no one is guaranteeing -- or is guaranteed -- anything.

ARTICLE II : You do not have the right never to be offended. This country is based on freedom, and that means freedom for everyone -- not just you! You may leave the room, turn the channel, express a different opinion, etc., but the world is full of idiots, and probably always will be.

ARTICLE III: You do not have the right to be free from harm. If you stick a screwdriver in your eye, learn to be more careful; do not expect the tool manufacturer to make you and all your relatives independently wealthy.

ARTICLE IV: You do not have the right to free food and housing. Americans are the most charitable people to be found and will gladly help anyone in need, but we are growing weary of subsidizing generation after generation of professional couch potatoes who achieve nothing more than the creation of another generation of professional couch potatoes. Don’t expect everyone else to take care of you.

ARTICLE V: You do not have the right to free health care. That would be nice, but from the looks of public housing, we're just not interested in public health care.

ARTICLE VI: You do not have the right to physically harm other people. If you kidnap, rape, intentionally maim, assault or kill someone, don't be surprised if the rest of us want to see you fry in the electric chair.

ARTICLE VII: You do not have the right to the possessions of others. If you rob, cheat, or coerce away the goods or services of other citizens, don't be surprised if the rest of us get together and lock you away in a place where you still won't have the right to a big screen color TV or a life of leisure.

ARTICLE VIII: You do not have the right to a job. All of us want you to have a job, and will gladly help you along in hard times, but we expect you to take advantage of the opportunities of education and vocational training laid before you to make yourself useful.

ARTICLE IX: You do not have the right to happiness. Being an American means that you have the right to the PURSUIT of happiness, which by the way, is a lot easier if you are unencumbered by an overabundance of idiotic laws created by those of you who were confused by the Bill of Rights.

ARTICLE X: This is an English-speaking country. We don't care where you are from; our language is English. Learn it, just as most of our forefathers did. Learn it or go back to wherever you came from.

ARTICLE XI: You do not have the right to change our country's history or heritage. This country was founded on the belief in one true God. As an American, you have been granted the freedom to believe in any religion, any faith, or no faith at all, with no fear of persecution. That means that this same freedom is also granted to the other person. The other guy has rights, too -- not just you. The phrase "IN GOD WE TRUST" is part of our heritage and history.

Share this if you wish. You don't have to, and nothing tragic will befall you if you don't. Isn’t it about time common sense is allowed to flourish? Sensible people of the United States, speak out. If you do not, who will?

Thanks to all involved in the creation of this article, especially my cousin Phillip.

General Patreaus has a report...

...for the White House, not congress. It is the President who is required to submit a report to congress about the war, not Gen. Patreaus. The General reports to the President and his advisors, and the President submits the report, "by law". As we already know what the media thinks of our President, and what they are now saying about the general, there should be no questions taken. The president should slip it in the congressional mailbox, and then go on TV with the general and have a discussion between themselves for the Amerian people to hear. Screw congress. They are too caught up in ensuring defeat to treat them with any civility. Don't answer question one. If they don't like it, let them stand up and vote to defund, as is their congressional right. These cowards gave up the right to declare war to the President so they would not have to make a decision, and now they act like they know it all. They are irrelevent as long as they are too chicken to do their constitutionally directed jobs. Go over their heads right to the American people, who are not cowards, do not mistrust the military, and do not think the president is evil.

Past Posts

Over time I have formed many opinions. I am a regular working guy who chased the American dream. I may not have been overly successful, but I am responsible for that, not the government or my fellow citizens. My many different jobs and travels have formed my opinions, along with an upbringing in a NYC police family. I am posting some old postings and letters to give you an idea of who I am, and will comment on more recent news events in the future. I am looking forward to hearing from my fellow citizens, and encourage debate where you think I screw up.

O just get over it, and start practicing kneeling to Mecca. Your media and royals hate Jews and Christians so much, they are willing to go Sharia just to prove how pc they are. The cowards in our government are trying to do the same, but our pesky "right to bear arms" is making it difficult to order us to kiss allahs butt. After they hit us again, many of them will be dead, and their refusal to object to the misuse of their religion will be a good reason to kill them. If someone was killing people in the name of Christianity or Judaism here in America, The priests and rabbis would be denouncing their actions in marches. Where are the muslim marches denouncing terrorism. They don't exist, because they all want terrorism. When we start shooting them in the street after the next attack, they will have no one or nothing to blame but their complicate silence.

They are a mob, the press and these petty liberals who could not beat this man, hounded him relentlessly, and don't have a fraction of his class or intelligence. Maybe your hyperbolic attacks against the only network that has both sides of the issues, and debates them intelligently, would be more effective if you would list some examples of Murdock making, or his network making unwarranted attacks on democrats. You actually are going to kiss the ring of the Daily Kos, only because you are afraid not to. You know they will turn their incredible hate at you if you don't go. Lets see, your afraid of a fair debate on FOX, your afraid not to supplicate yourself to Kos. You really are a girl. A chickens*it girl at that. How are you going to stand up to real enemies of this country, if you can't even have a debate that’s not rigged. Please keep up the high profile. You are the comedic relief in this election cycle.

Why not strip police funds, they are the ones that held up their hands and swore to uphold the law. The police force in any sanctuary city should have its certification stripped, and all the officers also. They should not be able to transfer to law abiding states, or onto the police forces of non sanctuary states without starting all over again like they are not officers, because if they refuse to uphold the law, they are not. Every politician that ever held up their hand and swore to defend the constitution or uphold the law should be recalled, impeached, or otherwise removed by the governor, or the people should do it through recall petitions. About the “John Doe” law:

Please stop worrying about being sued. You don't have to be a lawyer to know that you have the right to self defense. It is based on your frame of mind. You can kill someone if you think, legitimately, that they are going to harm or kill you or others. No lawsuit can win against you if the determining factor is your frame of mind. It is a constitutional right and it is absolute. Between our right to free speech, (you can say what you want about anyone, as long as it is not malicious or meant to harm them without cause, expressing a concern for ones or others safety could never be considered malicious if your observations, upon investigation by the authorities, were not totally baseless in what they seemed to show), and our right to self defense we are covered. An honest mistake is not malice. Let them have their right to sue. If a reasonable person expresses a reasonable concern, a person belittling or insulting them in public would be open to libel and slander suits. Those knives they are so fond of cutting peoples heads off with cut both ways.

We did not start slavery, it has been around since the beginning of time, and is still going on in the Arab muslim countries that the slaves were bought from in ancient times.
We are the only country to sacrifice its people to make all people equal. It may not be perfect, but it is a better record then any former slave owning country can claim.
The only reason we hear this tired old claptrap anymore is because racists like Jackson and his ilk keep the blacks from making any progress so they can stay in a position of power. This racist county gives people, even, gasp, black people, the right to protest. Let them try that in the middle east or any of the countries that still trade in slaves. Do you want to end the last vestiges of racism here? When you get your census form, only answer the one constitutionally legal question on it - how many people live in your house. Every other question is used to separate us, treat different groups unequally and discriminate against one group or the other. Stop giving them the rope to hang us, stop pointing out the differences they get their power from, and they will have to treat us equally.

homosexuality is not evil...

...it is a biological abnormality, like thousands of others that occur in nature. These poor people, unable to fulfill the one thing that defines humanity - procreation, are to be pitied and left to lead as normal a life as possible. Like people with downs syndrome or a cleft lip, their chromosomes are damaged and they will never live a normal life. We should also not kid ourselves into thinking their lives are normal, or teach are children that. They are not normal. These are people that biology has cheated. Help them and leave them to their ways, but do not redefine societal norms to the degree that abnormality is accepted as normal. No acts of violence should be condoned, against them or any person, and we have appropriate laws on the books for that. If laws need to be passed to protect their property, last wishes and hospital visitation and such, then do it. Protect them from intrusion into their lives and choices, but do not redefine normal lives to do so.

To a reader that compared lefthanded people or nearsighted people to homosexuals.

lefthandedness or nearsightedness do not keep one from the capability of procreation, unless one is exceptionally clumsy. If you cannot procreate, the species dies out. (If you have research on the existence of a species that exists but cannot procreate, I would be greatly interested in seeing it). That would be abnormal. Any traits that lead to your own demise as a species would seem to be abnormal.

Another reply, same subject…

One more time.... ...real s l o w. I'm typing this slow, please read it slowly. You are redefining normal. In the overall species, there are many differences. Hair color and others. Just because of a numerical difference you can't proclaim something abnormal. When the NORMAL attributes of our species as with most others, (or haven't you found the answer to my question about non-procreating species), is to procreate to continue to exist, and you can't, I'm very sorry for you, but that is not normal. None of these other differences interfere. Your argument is specious and sophomoric, and I will no longer respond to someone who wishes to redefine words to suit his purpose.

7/21/07

mohaski writes:

And one more...

... you say normal cannot be applied to species procreation, and you ridiculously claim it (homosexuality) is the same as lefthandedness, which you say is abnormal due to numbers versus rightys. By your reasoning, the sheer numbers of heterosexuals, 97 percent of the population by any non-biased, non gay agenda research, for you defines them as abnormal. You can't have it both ways. They are abnormal genetically or numerically, however you wish to define it.

A possible solution to illegal worker immigration

If we wish to identify the illegal’s here and still need foreign workers, I have a suggestion that would work over a two year period.

First, we build the wall on both borders. Every 45 miles, we have a workers welcome center, with a Mexican government center on one side, so the immigrants work papers are in order, and an American super computer on the other side to create a biometric (eyescan and blood sample) id for the workers. They are then welcomed to America to work. Now they can get insurance and drivers licenses legally, so now we know were they live. After a two year grace period, any employer hiring an illegal, (now a person without the new id papers), will have their business confiscated and given to the local community to either close or run legally. Any illegal currently here with their family would have to go to the other side of the fence and come back through. If the immigrant has been here illegally and has family in America, there is a 1000 dollar fine, 200 to be paid immediately, 800 to be suspended and paid at a rate of 200 dollars a year. If the immigrant learns English and assimilates into American society, however much is owed at that point is suspended indefinitely. When the immigrant with a family here applies, he tells the official how many family members and their names, and is given vouchers for them. When he returns to his family, he brings each of them, with 200 dollars, to the local police, were they are fingerprinted and given ids and welcomed from the shadows. They have two years to do this, (and then 200 per year until the 1000 is paid), so if they have a large family, they can spread out the monetary fines. Total assimilation suspends the fines. Any violent crimes, including drunk driving or gang involvement would be grounds for deportation on this workers visa. This means the original charge. There will be no plea bargaining for people with these visas. No person that had been here illegally prior to these visas will ever be a citizen. This is part of the punishment for breaking in to the country. They at least have the opportunity for their children, born here, to have a better life. That is the cost of their actions. Those that come here for the first time on this visa, who assimilate and work without legal problems for ten years, may apply for citizenship.

This may not be perfect, but it would give them all the incentive to sign up. After the two year period ends, anyone caught here illegally would face mandatory jail until there home country takes them back. In some cases, that could mean life in prison. That incentive should keep them out.

Second, as of the end of the two year grace period, free lawyers will be given to anyone with these work visas to sue any employee paying less than the minimum wage. Repeated violations, and the business is turned over to the employees, (because the previous owners, board of directors and ceo are in jail).

Third, congress should also pass an immigration reciprocity law, ie. any citizen of another country shall have all of the rights in this country that Americans have in their (the immigrants) home country. Lets see the foreign governments and other hypocrites screaming for rights just for being here chew on that.

To Chris Wallace about referencing foreign law in our Supreme Court...

...hey Chris, love the show,...BUT...When Sandra Day O’conner expressed dismay at the attempt to impeach judges who cite foreign law, why did you not ask her what right they have to use foreign law? American judges should use American law, period. Her arrogance, and your acceptance of her unacceptable answer left that hanging. All judges, especially our supremes, should be removed if they violate their oath to uphold the laws of America. Their actions are why America is losing its identity and becoming balkanized. I am waiting for them to turn us into France and let the muslims have their own law in Michigan. The judges and politicians ignoring our laws should be tried for treason, convicted and shot on national television in an American celebration of freedom. We are Americans, and want to stay Americans.

What Constitution?

I am 54 years old, and I have never lived under the constitution (eo 2040), and legally have no rights except those of a ward of the state, legally defined as an enemy of the state, (as you are also), by eo 2039. These two eo's are why our government and our borders are out of control.

Will any of you tell the truth, address and repeal or overwrite these clearly unconstitutional executive orders, and return to us our status as "soverign citizens"

ps:

these executive orders are why our politicians can tell us to shut up, and call us bigots for trying to close our borders. They don't HAVE to listen to us, because we really don't exist legally (EO 2039). Will any of you help, or are you just going to get the power and money, like all the rest of the traitors in washington?

Comprehensive immigration

Just as the Russian army supported the citizens in their time of crisis, I pray that the day this bill is signed, the military arrests any politician who violated their oath of office by signing the bill. They can then be impeached, tried and convicted for treason, and put to death on national television as a warning to any other imbedded traitors thinking of destroying the American government and way of life.
