To all the people that say, "now you can't point out THE ONE's inexperience", you miss the point. THE ONE is expecting to learn from the book, "Foreign Policy and How to Wield Executive Power" written by "Failed Policies of the Past" Joe Biden.
McCain has plans for the future.
Palin already has the executive experience, and will be getting the same crash course in foreign policy over the next few months that THE ONE will be getting, (except from people that have actually been successful at it, whose ideals have won wars, brought down the Berlin wall and gave the chance of real freedom to 50 million people in Afghanistan and Iraq).
Palin is a proven budget cutter, and having sold the Governors plane, (she put it on e-bay), and fired the cook at the Governors residence, she will do wonders cutting the fat from the budget, (maybe we can get some of THE ONE's earmark money back from the felon Rezko or the terrorist Ayers, but I digress).
Palin attacked corruption anywhere she found it, ridding the state of leaders OF HER OWN PARTY.
I have yet to hear THE ONE comment on William Jefferson, D, Louisiana and his dispicable actions during Katrina or the graft that was discovered after the fact. Or Harry Reids family getting rich because of his manipulation of government land policy. Or Nancy Pelosi investing with T. Boone Pickens in wind power, and demanding we all invest, through taxpayer subsidies, so she can profit. Meanwhile, she helps cripple our economy by not allowing EVEN A VOTE on drilling for oil! Conflict of interest, anyone?
Palin knows more about the energy industry then THE ONE will ever know, and set up a tax on oil companies in her state that gets higher as they make more money. Then she gave the money to the people of Alaska.
THE ONE hates fossil fuels and thinks we will stop using them in our lifetime. He wants to give 1.5 BILLION dollars of tax money to left wing "green" researchers, (who will never solve the problem as long as the government is funding their failure), to fight global warming, while all the recent evidence suggests we are cooling, with some researchers claiming we are entering an ice age.
THE ONE likes to point out and mock the fact that McCain has agreed with, (or supported, there IS a difference), the presidents policies 90 percent of the time.
Where is the "change" THE ONE speaks of? Where is his 10 percent disagreement with his left wing?
To our dismay, McCain has reached across the aisle, for the sake of "unity", for McCain/Feingold, McCain/Kennedy, McCain/Leiberman. Atrocious bills all, and all caused him problems with his base.
THE ONE speaks of "unity", but has yet to produce an instance where he has compromised his left wing ideals for "unity" across the aisle.
THE ONE has never disagreed with the furthest left wing positions of his party, except when they abandoned his going too far left for them, as he argued for infanticide.
Palin gave an eloquent speech, never once feeling the need to apologize for, nor criticize, the country or "bitter Americans".
THE ONE looks pained when he finally realizes he better say something GOOD about America, and always ends it with, "BUT..."
Palin loves capitalism and guns.
THE ONE is a socialist marxist that thinks the second amendment is for hunting.
Out of all McCains available choices, there was no one better for him to "groom" for the continuancy of the conservatives in the presidency.
